We’re excited to finally reveal DarkMyth Village, our newest and most expansive fantasy terrain set yet! It’s been in the works for a long time, and it builds on everything we’ve learned from our past modular designs.
This is a terrain system designed for building entire townships, fortresses, keeps, and quick set-up RPG encounters, with a focus on storytelling, modularity, and ease of use.
A Terrain System That Grows With Your Story
The terrain uses the same push-fit system from our Assault Series, meaning no clips, no hassle, and everything locks into place with ease. Whether you’re crafting a market square, the ruins of a forgotten village, or towering walls for a siege encounter, it all just clicks together.
Walls, junctions, inserts, and platforms all interconnect with vertical stacking options and different wall heights. Everything is designed to encourage creativity from modular rooftops and secret walls to lighting-ready sconces and narrative props.
Designed for Fantasy Adventures
While it plays well with the existing DarkMyth Dungeon, this set stands firmly on its own. Inside the Core Set are over 90 STL files, from structural elements to functional accessories – all scaled for 28–32mm miniatures and built for immersive tabletop play.
You can expect:
- 1″ grid flooring
- Mix-and-match wall lengths and junctions
- Support-free FDM designs (resin-friendly too)
- Peg-and-hole vertical stacking
- Insertable features for lighting and scenery detail
Modular from the Ground Up
DarkMyth Village was created to let you build big or small, vertically or across wide, open spaces. Want narrow alleyways for skirmish encounters? Covered platforms for lookouts? Split-level interiors? It’s all there, and it all fits together cleanly.
Example builds even show the Core Set working hand-in-hand with stretch goals that bring even more variety, including crossover features with other Assault Series sets like Darkhyve Assault and Ship Assault.
Optimised for Print, Built for Play
We’ve tested everything on a range of FDM printers like the Ender 3 and Bambu P1S, but also ensured many pieces work well in resin too. You won’t need supports (for FDM), cleanup is minimal, and for those who like a precise fit—we even provide tight or loose options for different print calibrations.
